Adapted from Bicknell's Detail Cottage & Construction Architecture, published in 1873, this delightful Victorian residence is once again available to builders and homeowners. We opened up this floor plan to create a house ideally suited to entertaining. If the owner desires, he could substitute a vent-free gas log fireplace and move it to the long wall adjacent to the laundry, where we have drawn an entertainment center. This will open up the great room to the kitchen and create a wonderful keeping room.
