The inspiration for this plan came directly from the 1878 edition of "Bicknell's Victorian Buildings." At that time, the estimated building costs for this lovely residence, including mantels made of marble, was only $2500. One hundred and twenty-five years later, the costs of constructing this dwelling may have dramatically changed, but its handsome charm remains constant. Modern families will appreciate the open and spacious kitchen with an attached keeping room. A separate living area at the front of the house will provide a quiet retreat from family activities. Above, the master bedroom enjoys private access to a second floor porch.
