Straight from an 1890 plan book The Cottage Souvenir #3, published by the pre-eminent Victorian architect George Barber, this adorable house has been adapted to the needs of today's families. A deep front porch opens into a spacious great room; the wide cased opening that introduces the adjacent dining area gives the house an open feeling. The kitchen porch is handy for grilling out-of-doors, or for enjoying a cool drink in the evening. The master suite has its own secluded outdoor living area; it could be enclosed to provide a private study nook. A lavish master bath has a long stretch of counter space and a large linen closet.
